About Us - Experience
Dr Hannah Piterman, director of HPCG, is a consultant, and advisor to senior management and boards in the area of board evaluation, executive coaching, leadership development and the fostering of high performance team cultures. Her doctoral and post doctoral research, strategic consulting, and executive development, draws on more than 20 years of experience as an executive in, and consultant to, business, government and university sectors.
Dr Piterman is author of numerous public reports and journal articles. Her interest in thought leadership has seen her most recently authored research publication 'The Leadership Challenge: Women in Management', a study undertaken for 16 major companies, government agencies and higher education institutions. She has a doctorate in Organisation Dynamics and a Master degree in Economics. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). She is an Honorary Associate Professor at Monash University in the area of leadership and health care reform, advising on strategy, governance, performance and practice.
Dr Piterman works across private and public sectors including health, higher education, government, media, professional services, finance, food, mining and the non profit sector. Her approach is informed by her understanding of the client's specific needs and culture, her in-depth knowledge of strategic organisation development issues, and her experience in managing cultural change. Dr Piterman partners with organisations and individuals to support the work of HPCG.
